How does TraceMe collect my data?
TraceMe only collects data when you actively trigger it through our browser extension. We leverage AI products' own memory features (like ChatGPT Memory, Claude Projects) to help you extract valuable content. We never collect any data without your explicit consent.
Are my AI conversations automatically monitored?
Absolutely not. Our browser extension is an assistive tool—data is only captured when you click 'Save to TraceMe'. You have complete control over what gets recorded and what stays private.
Where is my data stored? Who can access it?
Your data is encrypted and stored on secure cloud servers. Only you can access your complete data. Content you choose to make public (like your Public Profile) will be visible to others.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, anytime. You can delete individual Traces, your entire profile, or completely delete your account. Deletion is permanent—we don't keep any copies.
What is TraceMe?
TraceMe is an AI-native identity platform. We help you extract insights, skills, and creations from your daily AI conversations to build your professional identity and personal knowledge base.
How does the browser extension work?
After installing the extension, you can save valuable conversation snippets with one click while using ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools. The extension intelligently extracts key information and auto-categorizes it into your Traces or Profile.
Which AI tools are supported?
We currently support ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and other mainstream AI assistants. We're continuously expanding support for more tools.
What appears on my public profile?
Only content you choose to make public will be displayed—including your professional summary, skill tags, featured Traces, and AMA responses. Private conversations and notes are never exposed.
